The Home Office Register of Licensed Sponsors

The Register of Licensed Sponsors is published by the UK government. It lists every organisation currently licensed to sponsor a worker under the Skilled Worker, Health and Care Worker, and related visa routes. It is maintained by UK Visas and Immigration and is the authoritative source for sponsorship status in the UK.

You can view the official register directly on GOV.UK. Everything Hiredge shows about sponsorship status is derived from this document.

How often we sync it

Hiredge downloads and re-imports the full register every Monday at 06:00 UTC. The badge above shows the date of our last successful sync, taken directly from that import, not from when this page happened to load.

What a licence does and does not mean

A sponsor licence means an employer has been vetted and approved by the Home Office to sponsor workers. It confirms the employer is permitted to sponsor.

It does not mean the employer will sponsor you for any specific role, that a particular vacancy is sponsorable, or that a sponsored offer is guaranteed. An employer can hold a licence and still choose not to sponsor a given hire, for reasons unrelated to the licence itself. Always confirm sponsorship intent directly with the employer before accepting an offer. Hiredge is not a substitute for that conversation, and this page is not immigration advice.

Our job data sources

Job listings shown on Hiredge are sourced from third-party job data providers, currently Reed and Adzuna, and refreshed daily. We cross-reference the employer named on each listing against our synced copy of the Home Office register to apply the sponsorship badge. Hiredge does not create or own these listings.

Limitations

• Our copy of the register can be up to a week out of date between sync cycles. An employer's status can change in that window.
• Employer name matching between job listings and the register is done with fuzzy matching. It can occasionally miss a genuine sponsor whose trading name differs from its registered name, or match the wrong entity for a very generic name.
• A licence being present does not mean the specific role you are looking at will be sponsored.
